Terms of Service
Last updated: June 3, 2026
hum is a small, private app for sharing daily voice memos with friends, offered as-is for personal, non-commercial use. By using it, you agree to these terms.
Your account
Access is by invitation only. You're responsible for keeping access to your email or linked Google/GitHub account secure, since that's how you sign in. You must be old enough to consent to this in your jurisdiction (at least 13).
Your content
You own the voice memos and other content you create. By posting, you grant hum permission to store and display that content to the friends you've connected with, solely to operate the app. Don't post anything illegal, harmful, or that infringes someone else's rights, and only record others with their knowledge.
Acceptable use
Use hum for its intended purpose: sharing updates with people you know. Don't attempt to break, abuse, overload, or reverse-engineer the service, and don't use it to harass others. We may suspend or remove access that violates these terms.
No warranty
hum is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. It's a personal project that may change or go offline at any time, and we don't guarantee it will be available, error-free, or that content will be retained. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app evolves. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
