Each day there's an optional prompt for everyone. Answer it, or just say what's on your mind.

Your friends' hums unlock once you've posted yours, each in their own voice.

Reply in kind
React with an emoji or a short voice reply. Then you are done for the day.

hum leaves out the things that make apps loud. Your world is the friends you add, and nothing more.

No streaks
Miss a day and nothing happens.
No endless feed
Once you've heard today's hums, you're done.
No counts
No follower counts, play counts, or like tallies.
No ads, no tracking
No analytics, and nothing you say or do on hum is sold.

Private by default

You sign in with your phone number and a one-time code, with no passwords. You only ever hear hums from friends you've added, and only after you've shared your own hum that day. Download a copy of your data or delete your account at any time.
