Your friends, in their own words.
hum is a daily voice memo shared with a small circle of friends. One short recording a day, in your actual voice. Think of it as the opposite of a feed: warm, low-pressure, and finite.
How it works
- Each evening there's an optional shared prompt for everyone.
- You record a short voice memo, or just say whatever's on your mind.
- Once you've posted, that day's memos from your friends unlock. Hear them in their own voices.
- React with an emoji or a quick voice reply. That's it for the day.
Calm by design
hum deliberately leaves out the things that make apps loud. No streaks and no penalty for missing a day. No endless feed or explore page: once you've heard today's memos, there's nothing more to show, and that's the point. No follower counts, no public profiles, no discovery. Your world is the friends you add, and nothing more. No ads, no tracking, no engagement metrics.
Private by default
Sign-in is by magic link or Google or Apple, with no passwords. You only ever hear the friends you've added, and only after you've shared your own hum that day. You can download or delete all of your data at any time. See our Privacy Policy for the details.
